 CLUB NEWS AND UPDATES

2022 season.

Just over halfway through the year and so far so good.  The club has accumulated a large amount of dives this year off the south coast over 300 was the last count, making great use of the weather we have had the pleasure of. With expeditions confirmed and sitting in the pipeline this has so far been a very successful year for the club. There has been an increase of interest to join the diving world, training is going well, and our latest new members have progressed and completed their SPORTS Diver qualifications. A Great result of hard work and drive from the pupils and instructors.

So remember to keep checking your messages and emails, lots of diving locally and further afield are coming your way.

HAPPY BUBBLE BLOWING TO YOU ALL .....

  2021 season.

Happy new year to our club members, As we can all see this is not the start we wanted, sadly at the end of 2020 we did not have the Santa dive at Vobster or the new year dip. This year there are several trips arranged, Scapa flow in July and Gozo in September.  However of course we all know these will depend on the ongoing situation and restrictions with Covid.

A NOTICE FOR MEMBERS.

Due to the lockdown last year membership fees were not asked for as it seemed only fair because of the situation.  Updates will follow as to fees for this year.

Stay safe everyone and fingers crossed we can venture into the water and continue courses and training

 2020 Season...What a start

It all started really well, two club excursions to the Philippines and El Hierro.

However due to the current worldwide situation diving and club meetings have been suspended under government advice.  I appreciate the frustration but we must safe guard family and friends the best we can.

Will keep you updated as the situation changes over the coming months.

Stay safe and well everyone.

2019 Season kicks off.

The club has started the season with some kick off dives in Vobster and plans continue to evolve. Temperatures are still cool, with varying reports of Visibility, the best source for this is UK Viz Reports on Facebook. There are already plans for an early visit to Gibraltar on the 28th Feb, (If interested contact Don Batham) and again in July.  Chris Ingham is scoping an Easter Dive weekend to Plymouth. Longer term for this year are likely to include a weekend in Newquay, and another opportunity to visit Gozo for a week's diving. Once confirmed events will be published on the events page, and members emailed the details.
