Black Hawk

The Black Hawk was a 7,191-ton US Liberty ship torpedoed in December 1944. The shattered wreck lies in two sections off the Dorset coast: the stern rests south of Portland Bill in 50m of water, while the scattered bow lies in Worbarrow Bay in 16m–20m of water.

Enjoying a lovely day on Sunday 5th July, the club explored the bow end Hunting out the local Congers. At Max depth on the bow the club enjoyed wonderful temperatures of 17 degrees and glorious sunshine while resting on the Ribs.
